Guardian (U.K.) writer, Stephen Armstrong, takes a look at the new crop of American shows hitting the UK’s somewhat less sunny shores, the Pacific Northwest notwithstanding. In fact, he concentrates on the intriguing observation that some of the most successful new scripted shows from the U.S. feature nerds –Chuch, Pushing Daisies, Big Bang Theory, and […]

The other night’s episode of Reaper, Acid Queen, hit some very high notes for the CW’s hit show. The new repertoire for our boys in pursuit of the Devil’s missing children may be the thing to help this show see a sophomore season, and not just a sophomoric one.
First, Steve and Tony, played by Michael […]

In less that four weeks, Bret Harrison’s new movie, Deal hits the big screen in the U.S. The movie features Harrison as a college kid who learns some tricks from a former gambler, played by smarmy character veteran Burt Reynolds. It may be type-casting on two parts, but the teaming of Bret Harrison as a […]

This was another enjoyable story. I love the Steve and Tony arc. This is funny stuff, with the quirkiness that Reaper fans love. Sock is extending outside of his “slob friend” mode again, too!
Okay, a little discussion to see what you thought, and what you think is coming up:
Why is Sam so special?
What will Steve […]

I have to say that I loved this Reaper episode as much as last week’s Unseen. The Steve and Tony arc is terrific. It’s an amusing run down a new path for Reaper. You can’t beat that.

According to Nielsen, last night’s Reaper repeat, What About Blob had 1.67 million viewers, more than Beauty and the Geek’s 1.62 million viewers. Reaper had a smaller share, in its timeslot, but that’s because it’s up against some tough competition –Dancing with the Stars and Big Brother. So, that’s a heckuva big accomplishment for a […]

To win one for yourself, just write a comment on their site telling What would you need to get in return for you to sell your soul to the devil and why? Come up with a great response, and win yourself a […]

It’s that time, folks! With Reaper in the hold bin, it’s time to mobilize and let the powers that be at The CW know that you are mad as hell and aren’t going to take it anymore. Or, you could just let them know that you want Reaper to come back for a second season.
Check […]

Last week, Oscar Dahl, at BuddyTV, talked to Reaper’s own Tyler Labine. The Ontario native spills about ad-libbing on camera, getting the role as Sock, and working with the inimitable Kevin Smith for the pilot. And there’s the talk of who should find out about […]
