Reaper Gets Second Season on CW
I got a note from Stephanie, at the Hollywood Reporter, letting me know that they’re reporting that The CW has picked up Reaper for a second season. This, of course, is great news for Reaper fans. Devoted fans who loved the pilot, last September, watched patiently as the show struggled a bit for the remainder of the autumn. The new year and, especially, the post-strike episodes brought new hope with a return to the shows initial wit.
This will be a 13-episode season, with Reaper coming back mid-season. Reportedly, The CW plans to pair Reaper with Supernatural on Thursday nights, “after Smallville concludes its run.”
Tomorrow, The CW presents its slate of shows before its advertisers, Tuesday.

That is great! I can’t wait for next season and hopefully they will extend the 13 episodes to a full season.

i was really sweating this one. i’m so glad this show will be allowed to develop further. i’m hooked and its great tv.

This is excellent news, i was worried that with all the shows getting axed and not taken on this would be another one of my favourites gone (i miss Journeyman).
Roll on full season for Reaper Season 2, that is all i can hope for now. Also will be interesting to see where they go with Sam’s Dad.
